When you look at how the Indian opening batsman played, it’s like night and day compared to Burns and Sibley. Kohli comes in with a decent total on the board, Root comes in and has to try and salvage the innings.

Root is a class act surrounded by mediocrity. I saw a stat that root had faced something like 200+ dot balls in his innings. Now that is proper test match batting. 9 hours at the crease to make 180 is special.

England have been very good in this test, hard to say where the series will go from here. India edged the first test and England saved by rain, England edged the second but India won thanks to an abysmal final day from England. This test was all England!

Too many weak players. I've said it before but when it gets tough, too many if them fold so easily. At this point the game has gone. Just dig in and don't throw your wicket away. Walk away with a draw and move onto the nextvtest
