Admins: why a are guests not allowed access to site?

I always access the site as a guest and only log in when I've something to post. Not a major problem,but wondering why?

I’m not an admin but guests are cut when the traffic on the site is heavy and slowing things down. This happened when we played Santa Coloma as lots of people accessed .net to see what the problem with the stream was. Guests are cut first which usually speeds the site up. It’s always a better idea to login than ‘go guest’.

Thought that only happened when it was busy.

I actually hate not being logged on :greengrin

Always find it easier to track read threads.
