RIP Andrew Devine.

I watched both of the worst tragedy's in modern footballing times develop live on tv, the Hillsborough tragedy and the Bradford fire. Absolutely tragic and devastating. If any good came from these horrific scenes was that grounds nowadays are so much more safer and hopefully we'll never see anything like it again.

God bless all of them.

I wonder if anybody could even guess the unofficial number of victims?

It’s really hard to rationalise that isn’t it? Thoughts are with his family and loved ones, who have shouldered a terrible burden all these years.

And the coroner is 100% right.

A life not taken on that day but a life ruined on it. Horrible.

Horrible indeed, his Mum is the head teacher of a school in Liverpool where a good friend of mine works, so sad to hear of their struggles over the years. At least Andrew is now at peace.
