Has anyone worked out why it wasn't given?

A non existent push I think. Linesman’s flag didn’t seem to go up and the ref pointed to half way as if it was a foul.

The referee realised it had been a solid 90 seconds since he'd last made an incorrect call?

At least 3 yards onside.

No push.

Best guess is it maybe brushed his arm before it went in. But i dont think it did.

His leading arm caught the guy in the face, a bit soft but it happens a lot now.

Are there highlights anywhere yet?

Was wondering about Nisbet's disallowed goal too but I think that may have been from Boyle being offside

Boyle and maybe Wright were well offside, bit didn't touch it, and didn't interfere with play, so not convinced they were offside tbh.

We had a couple of players in offside positions, so I was fine with that.

Boyle did swing at it, think making a play for the ball is noted in the rule.

Thought that as well and they were not in goalkeepers line of sight.

Nisbet wasnt one of them though and they didnt look to be interfering. I thought it should have stood. Ido get a bit lost with offs
ide though these days.

Boyle took a big swipe at the ball and missed, that’s why the flag went up. Not sure on the exact wording of the rule but probably the right call based on my understanding.

That’s how I seen it too.

Looked to me that when he went up for the header, his trailing hand slightly brushed the defenders face who immediately stopped and held his cheek. Ref gave the foul almost instantly.

I was directly in line with the penalty box in the east and after the goalie saved the shot, Boyle took a massive swing at the ball and missed whilst clearing being about two yards offside - I said that to my son even before the ball went in

I didn't think it was a massive swing, more putting his leg back to try & reach the ball but I think the flag was already up. Nisbet took it very well.
