That's really sad news, Jim was a wonderful man. As I write this message, on the shelf behind me is The Joe Baker Quiz Book, produced by Jim H. The front page has a personal, handwritten dedication to me from Joe, arranged by Jim Hossack. We truly will not see his like again.

Hope there is some tribute tomorrow night. People like Jim are as important to the club as some of the players. I thought I knew a lot about Hibs but reading Jim's books I had only scratched the surface.

Didn't recognise the name at all sadly, but read elsewhere he was the narrator of The Team That Wouldn't Die?
In that case, soundtracked my early years as a Hibby. Loved that video.

So sad to hear of Jim's passing, he was one of the biggest Hibees I've ever met. Always used to look out for Jim and some other members of the Glasgow branch at Hibs away games in the 60s. Jim was a great guy to chat about all things Hibs with. He was such a lovely man.
Sincere condolences to Jim's family an friends.
RIP Jim

Sad news, lovely man ,first met him and his wife with my then fiancee at the away leg down at Leeds in 73,lovely couple spent a few happy hours with them.
Jim used to fix the intro of the stv sports programme.in his role as film director to ensure Hibs goals were always well featured !
A great booster and lover of all things Hibernian !
RIP Jim.

id known Jim along time and he was such a knowlegeable man about Hibs.
We had the same favourite player and i remember him sending me an autographed photo of him as a birthday present yonks ago.
Last time i saw him was at thee cup final where he was telling my son how long he had known me and how he has seen me at loads of Hibs games over the last 50yrs.
He told my son i was a good lady and he should be proud of me and glad he could call me a friend.
Made me feel very humble, a nice man and a great Hibby. RIP JIM. x

I never met Jim, but I still have my copy of his Hibs quiz book. Compiled at a time when information could only be obtained via archive research at libraries etc, rather than on-line, it was a treasure trove of Hibees related facts.
R.I.P Jim.
