I saw it hidden amongst the ticket thread but looks like Hibs have been given permission to do click and collect food for tomorrow’s game and seems to be a new vendor providing the food too. You order it on the Eticketing site.

On the face of it probably, but when you break it down probably not much different than it was before and there’s the admin of this on top of it too now I suppose. Good to see the club finding a solution to offer something tho. And if the pies are better quality than before I don’t mind paying a little more [emoji1787]

Pie, chips, and a drink for £7.50 isn't outrageous IMO.

Out for dinner beforehand so won't be trying it but be interested to hear how it goes. A good quality catering option would improve the ER experience (although it wouldn't be limited to pastry products and chips in an ideal world but can understand a limited menu at the moment).

What's included in a pie 'pack'?

Surely they could add that as a short description below the item name.

Edit: poster above has answered that for me.

It would probably add up to the above, if in previous seasons, you had to buy all 3

I've ordered for collection, went for the burger option, I'm sure it'll be an upgrade on what we've had to put up with in previous years. Don't think it's badly priced either to be honest

Those prices are what we were paying two years ago for the equivalent pie, chips and drink. Outrageous the club have ignored inflation 😉

Is there an option for just a pie?

Not that I’m getting one but whilst it’s maybe not anymore pricey as a pack I can’t imagine too many folk bought as much as that.

Suppose it’s all about getting a balance between offering a service that the council agree to, and making it financially worthwhile to the club.

Just noticed this in the confirmation email -

CLICK AND COLLECT KIOSK VOUCHERS

***KIOSK VOUCHERS MUST BE PRINTED AND PRESENTED FOR COLLECTION. (DIGITAL VOUCHERS DISPLAYED ON PHONES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) ON ENTRY TO THE STADIUM - BEFORE GOING TO YOUR SEATS AT THE START OF THE GAME - KIOSKS WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR COLLECTIONS AFTER KICK OFF***

I'm maybe being thick, but does this mean you need to get the grub before the game as you go in? Also surprised you need to print these vouchers out.

Is there any other info as to how the kiosk voucher thing is going to work?

Other than printing it off, very little detail of timings. Another thing is how do they keep it hot until you pick it up?

Apart from the fact I’d like a healthier menu, I’ll let you be the guinea pigs

I'd imagine the stuff will be cooked and ready to be packed up depending on your choice as you go in. So you get it handed to you hot in exchange for the voucher.

The new food is meant to be a much better standard by all accounts. I'll soon find out. I'm sure there will be a much more extensive menu once things are a bit more "normal."

There are vegan options available tomorrow which are obviously a bit healthier than your normal stodgy pastry.

Andy, we’re still selling the same product as before, had 18 months to work on it.
We have Hibs in the community, fit fans in the stadium, and loads of other initiatives. Yet we still sell high calorie products in our stadium?
We’ve had ages to work on improving our menu, but it’s the same old stuff!

If that’s what we continue to feed our support, so be it

Well said - hopefully they do adapt and listen to the suggestions of alternatives. Not all fans want greasy food. Even some pasta dishes would surely be simple enough to do.

Not saying get rid of pies etc but Hibs should be leading the way with some variety.

Pretty disappointing regarding the need to print out the voucher - don't own a printer and the local library is being used as a test centre, rules me out.

I'd imagine the tickets must have a unique number/code on them that allows you to easily tell them apart but I see no reason you can't just show them your e-ticket on your phone.

It also goes against the grain when we have declared ourselves the greenest club in Scotland, Aye we are 'green' but we really need to waste a bit of paper for every transaction in the food kiosks. Shirley a simple code could be given to collect items rather than an actual print out.

The problem with showing your phone is that you could pass your phone to someone else or send a screen shot. The print out gives a proof of collection should you turn up and be told that it's already been collected.

Unfortunately this is going to be a bit of a riot. Hibs would have been better doing no food and apologising in advance. They've tried to do something but overcomplicated matters and there's going to be some unhappy voices tomorrow.

Print outs can be recycled, food can be served in recycle friendly containers. While not ideal it's being driven by the club having to react to restrictions given to them. Likely to reduce amount of people in kitchen, if cooking and serving on demand rather than preorder more folk are required behind the scenes.

I have only ever used the 3 I mentioned and they are still there (over 16 years now). Some have branched into mobile phone/pc repairs and as I said they are not all still cafes as such (but I still use that term as I don't know of any new term). Students/young folk seem to be the bulk of the customers and it must still pay or they would close/change.

Aye, that must be the reason, but it's one that should have been thought about and sorted before we got into the games. I want a pie tonight, but I've no printer so I'll no get one. Same goes for the 2 others I'm going with.

Same as me. Printer out of ink and don’t bother as usually use the office printer, just seen this after I left the office today and ain’t going back in. Total pain in the arse and anything but ‘green’.

Am I going blind here? How do I get a kiosk voucher? Im clicking the link for it but only takes me to the ticket page to buy a ticket, no option for the food kiosks?

Any of our devotees of the food kiosks on tonight. I saw a few with the food bags so just wondering what the fare was like?

Good to hear but being a tight-fisted git and hopefully once we are up and running properly, I will be able to investigate this further! Not the whole £7.50 package, just a pie, maybe lol

Collected mine on the way in last night. Wasn’t actually expecting to have to but the kiosk was to be closed by half time.
Steak pie and chips, couple of tubs of sauce and salt and pepper in the bag. Chips were “oven chips” but decent quality fir all that.
Coffee choice was cappuccino or Americano. A bit limited to be fair but it’s early days. There were other options of tea and something else.
It was actually quite filling, if you have gone to the game without having had your tea, and much the same value as you’d get for a chippy pie and chips.
I’m not sure about the take it or leave it of fairly limited choices and having to preorder but confident the club will get up to speed. But in these days of keeping budgets tight pre order will at least ensure less waste

I'm the same, will try it when it isn't the set menu of pie or hot dog etc chips and drink but I appreciate this is the best way for them to do it in the current circumstances. Sounds like the quality is better so don't mind paying a bit more.

My boy had the sausage roll kids pack. For £4.50 it was pretty decent. Decent amount of chips (not fries) which were tasty (I stole a couple), sausage roll was tasty and what seemed like a large diet coke. Not sure what the difference was to an adult meal but can't imagine much.
