I don’t think he’s standing down as an MSP? New leader will need to come from the massive list of MSP’s they have. I think it will be Cole-Hamilton.

Will anyone notice? Taken the lib dems from a serious party to not being recognised as a major party in Parliament. His endless stupid photo opportunities just made him look stupid and open to ridicule.

I really don't see where the Lib Dems can make a comeback, apart from a tussle with the SNP over Westminster seats East Dunbartonshire and North East Fife (edit: also at Hoylrood) and trying to defend Shetland and Orkney at Holyrood I don't know where they could make inroads.


It will probably go to Cole-Hamilton due to a lack of options but his over the top hatred of all things SNP won't get them anywhere.
