Have you seen the rumour about Gove and a mystery "friend"?

There's a lot of speculation but no names as yet. :dunno:

I know it's none of our business, but when it's a public figure, particularly a law maker, it's hard not to be curious.

I heard there was nobody else and the split was amicable. Mind you, she is a journalist and could make it very uncomfortable for him. 😉

I'm not sure brave women are involved.

My wife has said it must be the prehensile lips that is the attraction. :jamboak:

Hope he has broken Covid rules and goes too. If he has done what is being rumoured the likelihood is he has broken rules. So sad that corrupt politician can pee Billions of pounds of tax payers money away and not be politically damaged but a bit of rumpy pumpy gets them every time. I doubt your typical working class Brexit Union Jack clad voter will be happy with his choice of "special friend" either and maybe raise their knuckles from the ground to shake a fist at him.

There's sleazy corrupt politicians in every party, just as there are knuckle dragging followers.

If he has broken any covid rules then he should go.

However am I the only one who doesn't care he may have been having a relationship with a man? That seems to be by far the most titillating aspect about this rumour for a lot of people on social media.

How much money has Gove illicitly funnelled to a partner, male or female. More than Johnson, must go. Less than Johnson, matter closed.

Makes zero difference who the affair is with. What matters is if he broke Covid rules and if any more public money has been used. If, as rumoured, it was an aide, how was he appointed?

The rumour I heard is that he is, despite all evidence to the contrary, actually human. I don't believe it though

Usually they are the exception but with the Westminster Government they at least appear to be in every Ministerial position. Breaking Rules and breaking the law from the Pm right through the cabinet and that is before anyone knows where they are dipping their wicks. The Chancellor stealing Miner's Pension money just as he has stolen Civil Servants overpaid pension contributions to pay for the government illegally withdrawing our previous pensions. Corrupt to the core.

I seem to remember a Labour chancellor sell the nations gold reserves and steal from the pension pot too.

I think both those decisions were legal were they not.

Seriously? Is that the best you can do?

Do you need more examples?

Do you need more examples?

As both the examples you gave were legal and you were responding to illegal activities then yes.

Do you need more examples?

All you’ve cited so far were 2 perfectly above board examples of a government carrying out policies not everyone agreed with.

Whatever the rumour may be, the Prime Minister preemptively considers the matter closed. CON 40 LAB 30. No pressure on the government. Deal with it peasants etc.

Gove's wife, Sarah Vine, has asked for privacy. The same Sarah Vine who writes a hatchet column in the Mail sticking the knife into Megan Markle or whoever the current target is.

Here she is showing just how deep nauseating Tory hypocrisy runs ...
