Looking to add 6 teams to the leagues below the Premiership
Would be 4 leagues of 12 from 2024/25 season
Not sure I like the bit where, there will be no relegation for 3 years though

Clubs are always going to think of their own interests first, so no relegation is probably the only way you'll get enough League 2 clubs to vote for it.

Essentially clubs being bribed with the "no relegation" carrot for admitting the Old Firm colt teams into the leagues.

Rangers and Celtic again! That's a coincidence.
I wonder if it would ever get off the the ground if it was St Jonstone and Motherwell that suggested making up the six teams.

Yet gain they are trying everything to get the Colts into our leagues by the back door. It won't stop there....GTF! :agree:

All about the bigot twins and nothing to do with what's best for Scottish football in general. **** them, and I hope the other clubs see through that bull****

B team garbage and no relegation from SPFL for 3 years - just take a dump on the pyramid then while we are at it...
How many times does this dead horse need flogging. Time and time and time again they come back with stupid proposals revolving around the 'Old Firm'. It's like strangling the top half of Scottish Football isn't enough, they want to ruin the lower leagues as well.
Bin it.

So the Lowland League lets mini Celtc and the mini huns into their league and no matter where they finish in that league they'll get promoted into the League system? Sounds about right for Scottish football, look after the richest two and **** the rest of us

I’m for colts teams throughout the pyramid up to 3rd tier. Every premier club should be able to enter a colts side. Doubt any more than 6 would do it. But definitely no more clubs in spfl. 42 is enough, add in 4-6 colts teams who don’t take a share of the TV money and restructure with that. Can’t see that running a colts team would be hugely more expensive than the existing development team. Good for Hibs and Scotland getting our young players playing men earlier than now.

I've been saying for years having colt teams in the lower league's would be a win win situation the young players would come up against men not boys and the lower league teams would get more supporters coming to see their own team

Here we go again, Colt teams don't work and bring no benefit to anyone, we'll get the usual drivel about how it'll "bring big crowds to lower league grounds" in spite of the fact that almost no fans turned out to see Colt teams in the challenge cup

If everyone was getting the chance to enter a colts team into the set up if they wanted then yes but the fact it’s they two they can **** off.
Only increases the likelihood of them hoovering up the rest of the young talent by promising them a chance of playing league football

Another ridiculous proposal. Any competition that does not not punish failure is rubbish to start with but to then add in colt teams from the Old Firm is wrong. If they are going to allow B teams into the league set up they should get promoted first and it should be open to all clubs.

So why don’t Hibs, Hearts, Dons, maybe Arabs do it too and hoover up some talent. Better than these half baked strategic partnerships

So it's a bribe. Ok.

Every suggestion surrounds OF colt teams. Why not offer the lower leagues a 16/18 team alternative (if that is indeed what they want) without the add on?
