Assuming we go into Europe with the current squad (less Rocky), what are folks' thoughts (absolute minnows aside).
To stimulate debate, I'll kick off with.....

Away - 30% possession and a rearguard action
Macey

McGinn
MacGregor
Hanlon
Stevenson

Cadden
Gogic
Hallberg
Newell

Boyle

Doidge

Home - 70% possession, creative attacking football needed
Macey

Cadden
Porteous
Hanlon

Boyle
Allan
Irvine
Murphy
Doig

Doidge
Nisbet

Not included Magennis cos tbh I just don't know (yet?) what he brings to the party. Same goes for Daniel MacKay. I'd also have to side with the likelihood of saying ta but ta-ta tae Mallan.

If nothing else, this exercise might show up what we need and who currently might be surplus to requirements.
SWOT analyses welcome!

I think 3-5-2/5-3-2 is my preferred set-up. With the current squad I'd probably go with:

Macey

McGinn
Porteous
Hanlon

Boyle
Cadden
Gogic
Newell
Doig

Doidge
Nisbet

Mackay, Murphy, Magennis, Allan, and Halberg give us good options too though and I'd not have any concerns slotting them in.
