Didn't know it was today League Cup draw

Draw could have given Hertz a chance to get revenge on Brora , unfortunately it will be Cove that better watch out. Amazes me how it's supposed to be regionalised and it was always teams away up North for them and us .
Seeded in the last 16 for us.

Is it not regionalised per pot or something along those lines?
So more southern teams in pot 1 compared to EC's pot.

It's the League Cup. How come Brora and Brechin are in it?

Brechin qualify as they finished 42/42 last season. Brora and Kelty qualify as winners of the Highland and Lowland leagues.

The Highland League and Lowland League have each had a team in the League Cup since the format changed back in 16/17 with the introduction of the group stages.

Regionalised competition but Hearts closest potential away game is Stirling which is still 37 miles away...
Cove Rangers is basically the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Peterhead, are they not Britains most Northerly league club? Pretty certain they're the club furthest from a railway station as well.
Inverness is Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
At least two of these teams will have to travel to Edinburgh as well. Its hardly a fair system.
Better off putting names in a hat like it used to be.

Think Elgin is the most northerly, but there can't be much in it.
