They lost a league cup final to Rangers sometime in the late 90s as well.

Lost the League Cup Final 1-2 to Rangers in 1998. I know because I was there with my Saints-supporting mate and missed the first 2 goals, as we stayed in the pub too long!

I was there. Bertie Auld scored for Celtic in the 2nd minute, and that was that.

Somewhere at the back of my mind was parked that Rangers result. Still not a bad success rate. Esp in recent times.
