That’s fine I respect your opinion but you have to be able to pass and move as a midfielder sadly he can’t do that breaks it up and does 0 else harsh as I like the guy personally but he’s never a footballer, like playing with 10 men in the team

Scott Allan is a luxury player who on his sparse good days is fantastic. Gogic plays a different role and is continually one of our best player who was unbelievably subbed before Irvine and Newell today.

Still want us to sign him as I think he’s a good player, pre season behind him and playing centrally consistently would make a big difference.

Would love us to get Campbell or a player like Ali McCann.

He’s certainly not hit his early heights, and I get why folk can take him or leave him. I have sympathy for him today in being hung out to dry in the bizarre trend of Ross playing a lopsided midfield and shunting a central midfielder out left. I think his lack of a pre season/games is probably also catching up to him.

I’d like him to stay but think we have bigger problems in our formations and midfield set up. We’re a better team without Newell IMO.

Agree. Newell is the only player that showed anything going forward. He was pretty decent first half - but no one supported him. Collectively the team were away with the fairies. Jack Ross has a problem because preparation of the squad for playing ‘as a team’ is his most important job surely?

He was the obvious sub for Murphy at HT. Never convinced he's going to score in good positions this season and neither is he.

After Gogic went off, the game became stretched and St Johnstone broke through us to run at the back line far too easily. That was a HUGE call that JR got wrong and fed into the general panic that comes over us at a goal down - bypassing the midfield and playing football through the thirds getting the ball into feet for our better players to link up goes out the window.

did he ****, 3 times in the first half he had possesion when St. J. had players upfield and we had the chance to break forward, space in front of him. EVERY TIME HE SPUN 180 DEGREES AND KNOCKED IT BACK TO HANLON, THATS NOT A PLAYER WHO TAKES US FORWARD.

Gets into great positions then snatches at great chances. I think there is a player there but not working from the left. He could easily have got 7 or 8 goals this year with the chances he has missed and has a single sclaffed effort from a few yards as his only goal.

I think there is a very good player in there, in the right midfield set up and would be very happy if we get him in for next season

Not for the first time he's taken Gogic off when he's been one of our better players. I just don't get what he is seeing. I think it's tactical but all he's doing is moving off form players around and taking an on form player off, every time he subs Gogic we lose the midfield totally :confused:
