If this similarity has been posted please accept my apologies. If it's not, Doidge scores tomorrow i believe he will emulate Keith as a cup winner in scoring in every round. GGTTH

If ever a Hibs player embodied #perseverance it’s Doidge, written off by some pundits and fans at least twice in his Hibs career, he’s just got on with working hard and getting into positions to take chances. All the players deserve recognition for this season but I’ll be well chuffed to see big Doidgy lift that beautiful cup💚

A real chance not just to become a great but scoring in every round if we win may just sneak him in to legendary status 🙂

Aye we all love Doidge when he's on form. Never know a player that blows so hot and cold as the big man.
Remember thinking he's just not good enough for Hibs. The lad has missed a few sitters.
Mon the big man!

His goalscoring blows hot and cold, his quality play and impact on the side doesn't. Very important player and thats why he plays every week.

:agree: Jack’s often spoken about his contribution and why he rates him.

Even when he first signed, he looked a very good player who just wasn’t getting the breaks. His goals record did become a slight concern but they were clearly going to come, he was never going to keep missing the chances he had been.

Christian is clearly a confidence player. When he doesn't score for a few games it plays on his mind and he scuffs the easier chances. Once he break his mini duck then you can see the weight being lifted and he goes on a run.

That being said, even when he's not regularly scoring he's still a handful for opposition defenders in the air and does his fair share of defensive work, especially from set pieces. Think that often get overlooked.

His Scottish cup form is awesome though. Think he's averaging over a goal a game?!

Barely lost out in an aerial duel all season. Honestly don’t think he won one header yesterday.

Actually looked to see if it was Jason Kerr dominating him but over the course of the game, it was all three of their centre half’s. Sign all three?

It was all three but in his defence he got no help from Nisbet who seemed oddly subdued yesterday. And least said about Boyle the better.
