No Fans Tomorrow Advantage or Disadvantage?

Ok I'm not daft. Having fans there would obviously help the team but in finals where we've taken 40k v Livi and 35k v Ross county we've lost. Normally a Hibs v St Johnstone final would see us take 35k +. I wonder if not having a huge weight of expectation on their shoulders actually helps some players.

Biggest number of away wins in our history suggests there's something in this. On balance, expect Hibs players to benefit from the lack of fans/pressure of the past.

Just sad the stands will be empty and the TV highlights of the match will be diminished as a result.

St Johnstone have a psychological advantage over us with the better record this season in empty stadiums. We undoubtably have the best team and if we turn up we should win.

Those games balance out the league cup finals against Dunfermline in 91 and Killie in 07 when we had the vast majority of fans and won. It can work both ways. Tomorrow its all down to the players on the park.
