Normally do this for transfer deadline day. Thought it would be interesting to find out what fans will be consuming during the game.
I will be having cans of San mig and tube of bbq pringles, M and S strawberry jaffa cakes if it goes to extra time

At my brother in laws.

Pub lunch is planned then back to the house for beers.

Taking up some excellent Lost & Grounded Helles and Pilsner to have during the game. They are a small Bristol brewery. Well worth a try as they do mail order.

Healthy eating plan suspended for this one.

Booked into a nice cafe in Norwich city centre for some brunch late Saturday morning, will let the menu gods guide me on the day - though a breakfast roll is calling my name. Too early for a refreshing pitcher of beer? Undecided, but tempting.

Back to the gaff in time for the build up, if it's particularly sunny down this way I'll maybe opt for some fancy fruit ciders. Otherwise, it'll be whatever lager is on offer in Tesco I reckon. I'll pick up some snacks, salted pretzels will be amongst them.

Takeaway in the evening, hopefully a celebratory one, I'll leave it to my girlfriend to choose where it's from.

I'm planning on running 19 miles in the morning before the game so my snacks will be centered around recovery.

Steak pies for protein.
Beer for carb refuelling.
Crisps to replace salt.
Pizza for fat and calcium.

Proper athlete me. Leave nothing to chance.

My usual weekend breakfast/brunch treat of either bacon, lorne sausage, sausages, black pudding, poached/fried egg on two buttered chunky cheese rolls. As its cup final day it'll be washed down with bottles of real ale while watching the big game. Then, very hopefully cracking open the bottle of Mumms Champagne I was recently given upon watching us lift the trophy.

Booked a local place for breakfast with the wife and wee ones, then a bbq for the game. Then **** knows by the time the boxing starts - any good pizzerias that deliver in the Port Seaton area?

Spent a fortune on 10 green Sombreros and fake Mexican moustaches when I was pished a couple of weeks ago so I’ll be fuelling my visitors with tacos and burritos .

If we win, I’ll throw a large mixed kebab from Kebab Mahal from Dalkeith all about myself around 11pm and try and find my way home .

I kid you not, pizza is apparently a good recovery food and was a common post match thing for Manchester United during the Fergie era. And also, beer is also surprisingly a good post run drink, particularly wheat beer but I’m sure we can just treat normal lager the same. There’s studies about people who regularly consumed wheat beer after long running events suffering less inflamation in their muscles and also being less likely to get respiratory infections or something like that🍻

Out for breakfast Saturday morning to line the stomach then lager, cider and loads more lager. Might resume eating sometime Monday when the hangover kicks in after the inevitable celebrations...

The alcohol-free version of Erdinger is widely marketed in German winter sports coverage, using some of the same terminology as sports drinks – isotonic etc.

Had to deal with pre-match nerves somehow out here in rural France, and feeling a bit homesick, so have bought all the ingredients for home made steak pies, washed down with some hot Bovril. Backed up with various artesan beers and a bottle of Mortlach if we win.

Tayto Premium Salt & Vinegar crisps
Killie Pies x 6 (3 for me and the others for the kids and wife to keep them away from mine)
Leiths Finest Paolozzi beers x4 - cos I’m on a diet.

premium burgers, sausages and mature sirloin steak is awaiting some decent weather...

the diet will take a hit.

should we actually win I think I’ll reserve either some Moet that was given for my bidet in April but superstition means I won’t chill it until after so impromptu celebration will be a dram of gold reserve Cardhu - on promo at Morrison’s.

I've moved season ticket seat from the East to the West for this year so as I'm not a fan of prawns I'll be having ham and cheese croissant to eat. Punk IPA from Brewdog for before and during the game . If we win I'll ratchet it up to Elvis Juice and no doubt pass out by 8pm

70% chance of rain on Saturday in Norwich, healthy diet out the window for this one as well, when are you off to Tesco?

Gutting - but if it means there's some Sunshine on Leith, it's worth the sacrifice. On the way back from the café I reckon. Although, the Adnam's store is on the same street. 👀

6am kick off here, so I think I'll opt to head down to the King's Head Shoppe in Santa Monica on Friday and pick up some sausage rolls for breakfast, pies for halftime and plenty of Bovril and Irn-Bru to wash it all down.
