Totally. Wasn't sure about Ron at first, just my nature probably. But he really does seem like the real deal! Chuffed.
Might have done Luis a disservice 'some Peruvian guy' as he really seemed to do some research and made Ron feel right at home.

Brilliant, really enjoyed that.
Anyone who had concerns about his motives should watch that. He clearly just sees a lot of potential in growing Hibs and Scottish football.
And yes, I agree with the presenter (who was excellent) that we should sign Peruvians.

What a brilliant interview, thanks for posting.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a chairman talk so enthusiastically about his club. Can’t help but be inspired by him.
He’s superb. Bang on the money in everything he talked about and his passion for football shines through.

Two things that struck me most were his wish to improve the business model and raise the profile of Scottish football, but more so to be less of a selling club.

The interviewer looked like he could be Chic Young’s Peruvian cousin. On second thoughts he was far more knowledgeable about Hibs and Scottish football.
Ron seems to really get Hibs. Was also really impressed about his opinion on the European Super League bloodsuckers.
I was initially sceptical but am now confident this is the start of a great journey with him.

Don't know if its me but he is an impressive figure that sees the complete arse the governing bodies and other chairman have made of Scottish football.

Great interview andbi really believe he is the right man for Hibs and Scottish football. He clearly has a vision for Hibs but also for the game in Scotland in general. And it doesn't seem to be driven purely by self interest unlike someone else who made a total arse of herself when she was leading a task force. Excited for Hibs future with Ron in charge. Now if only he had promised world Cup players and CL victory in the next 5 years he would be the real deal!

Passion, commitment, smarts, focus... and a bit of money too. Ron Gordon really ticks the boxes in terms of what you want from a football club owner.
Fascinating to hear his views on the European Super League. He wasn’t fooled by that one.
Also interesting how he is across the business but kept bringing the conversation back to the first team. There’s that passion and focus again.
He loves being involved and he knows what he’s doing. We are in good hands.

True, but even so... they seem to have unearthed a real diamond.
To add to my eulogy above, Ron seems to have a bit of humility about him too, saying that he is a custodian of the club and should work in the wider interests of football.

Very, very good interview with Ron. By his demeanour you can't but help seeing he really 'gets Hibs' and a clear vision he has for the future. A mention must go to the interviewer, he was very capable, concise, articulate, knew his facts kind of guy and let the interview flow uninterrupted, as opposed to the bunch of ignorant, inarticulate, incoherent, biased cowboys we have here, masquerading as presenters and broadcasters. Take note BBC Weegie/Sportsound.
