Would think they’d need to have followed first team COVID protocols, so if Nisbet was a late call off, might not have had someone ready to come in.

Is there not a rule of rest of young players between games
Could easily have put Dabrowski on the bench as well

One thing is definate if we successfully get into Europe we need extra 4-5 minimum without any outgoings to get us through wknd and midweek or otherwise next year can be very difficult for us!

Our first team squad looks big on paper - but remove loans, injuries and we are ultra thin.........iirc I checked last week and we were at 18 (but that included Nisbet).

One or two injuries and the bench is low on numbers. We need more quality on the bench for next season.

With Murphy/Cadden being out injured we’ve had nobody on the bench that could come on and offer any threat. We are so reliant on Boyle it’s a major concern, if he has an off day or is marked out the game we really struggle. The starting midfield 4 on Saturday offered nothing going forward,

They have to be in the testing regime at start of week. Niz pulled out very close to the game so no time to add others into the bubble.
