Is the manager in the TV show The IT Crowd a Hibs fan? A couple people in my work mentioned this but not sure if they were on the wind up!

I'd doubt it but it might make her even more attractive. Only C4 lady I remember was on Brookside who's boyfriend(non showbiz)was a mental Hibby. Showed up in The Tor. Georgina someone

Either would be superb, but yeah, Matt Berry would be immense on the PA.

She was ****ging her brother on Brookside if I remember correctly. You can make your own jokes about Hearts at this point.

Helen George is in Call The Midwife, she's from Birmingham and an Aston Villa fan. Are you not thinking of the actress that was in Brookside over 20 years ago?

Yep, and her films were worth a watch as she was always liable to get her kit off. :agree:

Thats right, Helen Grace.

Her boyfriend at the time was Jamie Sives, actor from Lochend and a big Hibby. Sure she was at Easter Road for at least one match while she was on Brookside and his career was still building.

He has recently been in the series Guilt, and Too Close

I used to work alongside him - he didnt take up acting til his late 20s.

He was also a very good footballer - iirc was on Hibs books as a youngster.

Guilt was good, making a 2nd series at the moment. Hibs got a few mentions in the last series.

Not sure about IT Crowd, not a programme I've watched. Maybe the actor in question has visited Easter Road a few times whilst up at the Festival, I guess a few must have done over the years.

Only comedian I can think of that isn't Scottish and has Hibs leanings is Andrew Maxwell.

I can't keep up but I thought we were banned from saying stuff like this - or is it only if she had played or presented football some time?

It's Matt Berry.

He mentioned in an interview once that he attended quite a few Hibs games when working in Edinburgh.

Sorry I don't have a link to the article.

It has to be said that, as a young teenager, the prospect of Susan George doing the biz in a film was far more captivating than anything that went on at Easter Road in the early 80s.

Jo Caulfield is another one, although she now lives in Edinburgh and has done for a few years now.

I think the late Sean Hughes also used to attend a few matches.
Sure I read about a few comedians who would try catch a game or 2 when over for the festival

Dylan Moran lives in Edinburgh now. He mentioned it in one of his stand-up shows.

He said not to worry about him appearing in Glasgow, despite being an Edinburgh resident, as he had a work permit and diplomatic immunity.

He lives a couple of doors up from my friend in Merchiston. Seen out and about in Moningside often.

That's really cool. Does she go to many games (not that it matters, it's the endorsement that counts)?
