With the game on premiere sports - and I’m yet to taste the beautiful cold pint since last August.... does anyone know a place in / around Edinburgh with access to an outside bar showing the game?

In addition, all going well, inside meet ups should be allowed by 17th May. Not assuming we will get there, but I’d like to go out and see us/whoever is in the final play. Does anyone know if any ER area pubs have started taking bookings?

All ifs, buts and maybes I know.

A lot of pubs will have put their Sky/BT /Premier subs on hold/cancelled during lock down.
I would imagine the ones who are now gearing up for this, will be catering for regulars and known faces first ,and not particularly advertising it publicly, as numbers allowed may be low .Spaces/places in some boozers being limited.
Time will tell .Just my thoughts on it.

Wonder if Hibs would consider putting something on should/if we are lucky enough to reach the final.

Big spaces in BTG and hospitality for social distancing. Bring in much needed revenue...

Weird, there is a maximum on 500 people at an event. But what if a pub holds more (adhering to guidelines) than 500... (anyway, off topic).

Did Jason Leitch not say on OTB on Saturday it was a minimum of 500? Grounds could hold that many without discussion with the SFA, Scottish Govt etc. Any more than 500 had to be by way of an application to the Govt with a Covid plan.

Could Hibs not look at doing something at ER should we be in the final? Big screen, pods on the pitch, socially distanced in the stands? They’d make their money back as I’m sure the majority of us would think watching it at Easter Road would be only second to being at Hampden. They could class it as a test event.

I see absolutely NO reason why we won’t be allowed to - thousands let into Wembley and the crucible full to the brim this weekend for the snooker, but no doubt there’ll be some ridiculous legislation preventing us up here in Scotland.

I don’t think the issue is just about social distancing at an event in ER it’s about travel and how fans will react in the event of a cup win. If 3000 fans were at ER and Hibs win it will be bedlam and more would turn up as Hibs headed home with cup. I just can’t see the SNP allowing it.

In level 2 (which we should be in by the time the final comes round) the maximum capacity at an outdoors event if everyone is seated is 500 but this can be increased with the agreement of the local authority and Scottish Government.

Indoors (so if something was to be screened back to Behind The Goals) the maximum capacity is 100 which again can be increased with the agreement of the local authority and Scottish Government.

The broadcasting rights belong to BBC and Premier.

They won't allow Hibs or anyone else to to show the games live.

if Hibs win the cup Hibs fans will congregate on the streets anyway. It’s naive to think they won’t.

for the semi the pubs will still be social distancing...... even though ive not seen many actually do it, unless the Osmand Brothers were out for beers in all the photos.

There isn't that many pubs with outdoor space,TV screens and Premier Sports in Edinburgh. I can't actually think of any off the top so almost everyone will be watching it in their house.

Pear Tree and 3 sisters?

Do they have premier sports? Even so the majority of tables will have already been pre booked prior to the semi date being set.

99% of Hibs fans will be watching it in their house.

The guidelines put the upper limit on it. Don't think there are many pubs with 3500 square meters of free circulatiin space with seating space added to that in any case

I think people are talking about Hibs showing it at Easter Road through either BBC or Premier Sports, not Hibs TV.

In the stadium or the behind the goals?

I think people are talking about both however it's pure speculation, I don't expect it to actually happen.

Hibs still wouldn't be allowed to charge people to watch it on premier sports or the BBC. It's illegal to broadcast live sports to a paying audience

Well I imagine Leith and Easter Road will be rammed should we win anyway, maybe not on the same scale as the Huns last month but it will be heaving, and rightly so.

If Hibs win the cup, i’m sure the same fans would head to easter road and keith walk to celebrate anyway.

Having something at ER would be a great idea IMO and something i hope we can explore should we reach the final.

Then they could put it on as a thank you to all the fans who have supported the club during hard times, season ticket holders getting first priority on tickets.

They could make money through merch and alcohol sales.

It's a struggle to get anywhere booked for next Saturday, never mind to watch the game. We're planning a few al fresco beers pre-match before heading home for the game. If anywhere hears of anything available, give me a shout please.

Anyone got any suggestions for a good outdoor boozer for next week? Win, lose or draw I would prefer to be in the company of people rather than sat alone in front of the TV.

Tried 3 sisters. Not a hope in hell.

Problem is the places in leith that will show it, aren't the kind that take bookings. Probably most will have private doos for regulars , especially with distancing
