We're very excited to have the opportunity to chat with Hibernian manager Jack Ross on the latest edition of hibs.pod! As per our last episode, we'll have the chance to gather a few of your questions to bring to the table ahead of our interview with Jack on Wednesday - so now is the time for you to get your suggestions posted. Why can't he win "big games"?

We're running the risk of losing half the first team in the summer with Porteous, Nisbet, Doig and Boyle all interesting other clubs, and Irvine hasn't put pen to paper yet.

How well prepared are we to replace these guys if suitable offers come in for them?

A more serious question: Sunderland were linked with a lot of our targets/players when he was their manager (and indeed signed McGeouch/bid for Kamberi); was this because he was an admirer of our transfer policy/signings the past few years and considered it an indicator of quality that Hibs were interested in someone, or just coincidence?

No, just wondering where the cover would come from. Not sure I'd want us to be relying on one of the youngsters in a cup semi or final though I suppose he'd use Boyle (if available). I guess we managed when Nisbet was benched for a few games.

My contention is that Hibs are looking at a much longer term growth in terms of regular European football and international marketing and I believe that we are building a squad that will take us to those ambitious goals, which is why I think we have recently held on to players whom we might previously have sold. The long term strategy would mean a long term commitment from the management team. Do you have a vision for Hibs that includes the kind of stability required...basically, are you intending to stay?

Fans sometimes see the right substitution needed fifteen or twenty minutes before coaches make them. Is that simply because coaches know the optimum time to make changes taking much more into consideration than only a swap of players.

That's not a name change. Jack/Jock/Jackie are all commonly used in Scotland for people christened John.
