I wondered why he didn't feature in yesterday's game - not even on the subs bench. He had supposedly done well in the 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce so I figured he must have been injured.

Hmm not sure that’s accurate

Only started half of their games and has never played a full 90 minutes. His stats suggest 2 goals in 10 which isn’t bad but not sure I’d describe it as doing well over there

Looking at it from the point of view that it's a short term deal, with the intention of getting the starts that he wasn't getting at hibs, then no it hasn't been that successful.

However, credit to him for taking the opportunity. Sampling a different culture and, despite being the new boy in a new environment, keeping himself in and around the squad. Last time out he got a start and a decent run out in a good result against Fenerbahce.

I'm sure he's benefitting from the experience.

Yep definitely commend him for taking that opportunity as not every player would. Wish nothing but the best for him. Pretty sure that team have an option to buy so it’ll be interesting to see if they take it

Turkey has become the Brazil of Asia/Europe with a lot of denial and a lacks attitude to precautions. 50,000 plus covid 19 cases per day. Not the place to be. I am transiting through Istanbul Airport for luckily a short time on the way back to the UK. Hope Stevie is OK.
