Never knew that, apologies BH. Pet hate is the usual “who are they” comments on any given celebrity death nowadays.
Think that as we keep readjusting to how life changes mental health is going to be a massive thing we need to address. As you can tell, never been a reality TV person but horrible to hear of anyone succumbing to mental issues.

I was tempted to post the exact same thing.
That was the days when reality TV seemed a bit more innocent, it's heyday if you like.

I admittedly did watch the first series of Big Brother but it’s remarkable how alien it seems as a concept, they had psychologists analysing the relationships between each person and the like. Everyone seemed normal and likeable.
A few years back our local radio station did a competition that five people sat in a hatchback in a shopping centre and the last person left won the car. They had people coming up and chapping on the windows shouting things like “we don’t like you, we’re going to vote you out” and things like that, very personal things you would never dream of saying to someone you didn’t know. Social media and modern reality TV not only seems to change the way we communicate with strangers but also how we present ourselves.
It’s amazing how humanity has taken to this new reality through a lense. I’d hate to be younger now as the pressure to be perfect must be crushing.

Poor girl, obviously had her issues.
I was just saying to the wife that I got more of a flutter reading that than I did hearing Prince Phillip had died.

A mate of mine Johnny Regan was on big brother in the early years, cant remember which series but it was the one with Jade Goody. He came 2nd to Kate Lawler.
It seemed much more innocent then, the rewards were not so grand , and now they want folk to make complete idiots of themselves for viewing figures.

At it's inception Big Brother was an interesting social experiment, once potential housemates realised it was a route to "fame", it started to go downhill quite quickly.
