If Hibs lost 2 nil, I very much doubt someone would come on here and sarcastically say 'I'm gutted etc.'

It was only made because it's the women's team and he has no interest in that team, as he has stated on several occasions. But they are still a Hibs team and making fun of their defeat lacks class.

Whilst I agree that there’s little need to actively make negative comment it is also true that there’s a deluge of negative comment all the time about the men’s team.

As someone said on the AGM thread, Ron didn’t pony for the men’s team, he’s hardly going to do anything for the ladies team

Spartans have no men’s team backing. They may actually be better off just splitting and going on their own again. They aren’t a bad team by any stretch they are just missing the 4/5 quality players to push for top 3.

Glad to see that.

Would much rather see Glasgow City go 100 league titles in a row than have the Old Firm buy the league.

I fear if they become dominant then their sectarian bile will start to sneak into the league, whereas my experience of games so far has been they are generally friendly rivalries in nature.

Great qn. They get funding from many individuals. I know Hibs struggle to get much in the way of sponsorship.
