Nothing against our Northern pals, purely to remind our Hearts lurking pals just how **** they are;

I’ll start - a tin pot

For today at least, nothing on earth can be as good as Brora Rangers.....:faf:

All things considered Brora Rangers are on a level with a Sunday League side right now. 5 training sessions and one friendly in 3 months. Before that they'd only played 3 Highland League games.

Don't want to be disrespectful to them as they're a good well run club, but they've been incredibly compromised. Their players play football part time, couldn't train for months, gyms closed etc. That was an absolute shocker last night.

Up till now the best of Brora for me has been the golf course and Clynelish distillery, with an honourable mention for Capaldi’s ice cream shop. But those 3 will need to up their game now to stay ahead of the Rangers.

A couple of frankfurters with spicy sauce, 12 bottles of Bavarian lager and then spend the night licking my lips

This sort of thread is a bit OTT to be honest, we’re all struggling after twelve months of lockdown and football is an outlet for it all.

If any Jambos are looking in I’m sorry about my fellow supporters lack of empathy and even though we’re rival teams, we can find it within ourselves to be nice two one another.

Getting up at 4.00am to get ready for the day job on the fishing boats having just played in, and won, a Scottish Cup tie against the Gorgie Galacticos, knowing that in all probability, they're not home yet.

Until last night, my favourite memory of Brora was the best fish supper that I have ever had.

I've got a bottle of Clynelish 14yo sitting at home. I have a sudden urge to open it this weekend...
