We're (Longbangers) going to do a series of light-hearted 'performance reviews' for the Hibs squad and would like to get your thoughts on how each player has done this season.

Rating them either Outstanding, Acceptable, or Needs Improvement, give us a one line assessment of their season to explain your rating.

I think you’ve left out a few categories: Unacceptable, Waste Of A Wage, and Never A Player.

I’m going to rate Rocky as Acceptable, as he has maintained his usual high standards but not exceeded them this season imo.

I'll rate Rocky as 'outstanding'. Because he is usually out standing on the goal line.

Hi Matty

Based on the scoring categories shared, I would rate his overall performance as Acceptable as he is fulfilling the expectations we have for an above average Hibs keeper.

Personally I still have doubts about his ability to play at a higher level due to his inability to command his penalty area and average distribution particularly from his feet.

Amazing - I have no idea why i didn't go with marks out of 15 in the first place, but I will be adapting this from this moment on!!

Acceptable - he’s got some areas of outstanding (shot stopping) and some needs improvement (distribution).

Definitely meeting what I expect though on most occasions.

Not sure "light-hearted" will be the direction of travel for this idea particularly if results are a bit ropey.

When we do the reviews they’re going to be only semi-serious, we’re not looking to pick anyone out to slaughter them etc, that’s not take what we’re about.

Outstanding. If there’s only three options then that’s the one I’ll go for as “average” would be unfair compared to the rest of the league.

He hasn’t made any real clangers and can pull a save out of nowhere as seen with the double save versus Ross County. His distribution is improving which I don’t think he gets credit for improving.

I think having been spoiled for choice in him, Bogdan, Laidlae and the cup heroics of Conrad Logan we’ve adjusted in our expectations for the standards of a Hibs keeper and it’s be unfair to score him down for that.
