Don’t think he’ll be out for a pint in Morecambe when the pubs are back open either, fans don’t sound too keen on him at all despite going decent in the league

Strange appointment at Hibs, had highish hopes when he arrived after a good job at RC but I always got the impression he didn’t want to be here

He came to Hibs as assistant to Colin Calderwood. I'm surprised he came as an assistant at the time to be honest, would like to have seen him given time as manager. Our next 2 were Fenlon and Butcher I'm not sure he'd have been any worse.

I’m sure he thought he would have ended up manager. I think he’s a good one.

Had a wee read through of their forums, apparently he wasn’t good enough at that point for Morecambe and found himself less and less part of the team but wasn’t taking it particularly well. One poster suggesting he wasn’t a good influence and deserved to be frozen out, and that things improved when Adams broke up something of a clique.

Majority consensus is that the player completely overstepped the line and was acting like a fud yesterday. Have to agree.

Funny when he turned Hearts down for Morecambe

Derek Adams is a snivelling faced wee fud. Glad he didn’t ever get the Hibs job. Looks suited to the job at tynecastle.

Funny you mentioned that last paragraph about him seeming like he didn’t want to be here, was reading some of the comments on Twitter about the incident yesterday and there were Morecambe fans saying the exact same thing about managing them and some fans of another team he was at previously agreeing saying he was the same for them. Maybe just his demeanour but definitely seems like a bit of a strange guy.

He wasn't ever Hibernian class.

Suited for the Highlands teams and that's about it.

One thing that always got me was Mark Proctor - after Mogga he was supposed to be next in line as we’d for once been considering things from a continuity perspective iirc but was overlooked and headed for Livi...

Was there not a bit of cross-pollination going on there? Learning from academies? Didn’t get much change out of him as we paid for his sweary outburst being brought before the SFA and iirc he got let off? But not long after he was on the road back North...

Anyone else remember the time Jamie Hamill ran into him on the touchline? He took one hell of a bump that day

:agree: Jamie Hamill is an absolute fud. Looks like someone's loaded loads of grumpy face parts into a cannon and fired them at a Mr. Potato Head to boot.
