Lots of very bitter Jambo’s on there. Maybe we should all buy a ticket and sell their end out for them. :faf:

They’re unbelievable, my mate says he’s not watched any Scottish games that hearts haven’t been involved in this season. 🤣

If they get promoted back to the big league and fans are allowed back, will their bitterness stop them from going to away games I wonder. That’s a lot of anger being displayed in those tweets, but it is amusing.:greengrin

Getting pumped every week will be the main reason they don’t go.

It's not a ticket for anything, it's a raffle for a signed Hearts shirt. Are Hibs fans genuinely suggesting that we buy tickets just because Hearts fans have spat the dummy out?

Why do Hearts fans forget thst every club voted to end the season early...

Surprised they didn't stop at 51.

Imagine being that bitter [emoji23]You'd be bitter too if your team had been relemagated for nothing and if you were an inadequate, friendless idiot who thought everything should revolve around grudges and hating anything and everything. Luckily you're not.

Seriously do they boycott Tynecastle too given Hearts were one of the clubs who voted to end the Leagues as they stood at the time?

Some folk on Twitter saying Arbroath also voted in favour of reconstruction. I can't find anything to confirm this either way – I guess unless the club itself announced how they'd voted it would be speculation anyway.

Enjoy your signed Hearts shirt if you win it 🙄

All you will hear about is how Hearts supporters sold out the stadium and how big and good they are.

It’s not money for Hearts, it’s double bluffing them and helping Arbroath. If my fiver won a signed hertz top id just fire it in the bin or give it to one of my hertz supporting mates.

If they're on a bad run of form in the run up to an ER derby there'll be a "boycott".

Any reason why Hibs fans should help Arbroath over any other part time club?

I'd rather my spare fivers went towards helping Hibs, TBH.

I have a huge amount of time for Arbroath. A good club, a good chairman and a team who punch well above their weight. Dick and Iain Campbell have not only done wonders with them, have evolved as managers but are genuine characters of the game in a good way.

More power to them, especially against that lot :aok:

Hearts were relegated because they're team was awful and the club has been a disaster for a very long time. There was no other reason and nobody else to blame but they've convinced themselves otherwise because accepting reality means accepting what a absolute car crash the club is. They will never learn from the club's numerous screw ups because they always just blame someone else. And, because they never learn, the next disaster will be just around the corner. I'm looking forward to it :greengrin

I’ve spent a fortune all year supporting a whole variety of non league and part time clubs, Preston mainly, Tranent, Bonnyrigg etc. I can spare a few quid and more than happy to pop it into Arbroath. You don’t have to, nobody is forced to, if it helps clubs like Arbroath come out the other end then I’m happy to do so. I also spend a fortune over and above with Hibs and if it was a choice between the two then Hibs win, thankfully for me it’s not.

It's your money and you can do with it as you wish.

I always give any extra money directly to Hibs or to East Lothian Hibs Supporters Club.

The only other meaningful gesture was to spend £50 on a Tranent Juniors season ticket to try and help them on. Funnily enough I bought it in the Brig after we lost 6-2 at home to Rangers in the first game of the 2015-2016 season, maybe I should buy one more often.:greengrin

It’s different if it’s vast sums mate, I’ve got a season ticket at Preston (certainly not for footballing reasons 😂) hence why I’ve been so vocal about not being able to attend non league games. I wouldn’t spend that money on any other side other than Hibs and them.

Wee sky diver to Arbroath (and aye it’s mostly because those mutants over the road are trying to destroy everything in their wake), goes in the same bracket as buying the tickets for Tranent and Bonnyrigg etc in the DAT scheme last year.

Well done Sam. If supporters of the bigger teams, and we are one, can help small clubs financially to come out the other end of the pandemic and move on then we should. I watched View From The Terrace last night and there was a short film on it about the demise of Clydebank FC. It was sad to see great supporters of a small club robbed of it and everything it meant to them. Folk on here, including me, rightfully beat the drum for people supporting their local teams instead of the Old Firm and they can't do that if their clubs cease to exist.

Aye, Arbroath helped me realise as a teenager what it was going to be like as a Hibs fan - Mid-seventies, Scottish Cup, heavy favourites, lucky as hell to get away from Gayfield with a draw,
1:0 up in the return at ER courtesy of Ally McLeod, sat back thinking we had survived another cup upset & then watched as we lost 2:1. Almost funny.
So, happy to gift them a note, especially if it annoys the Jambos (who got relegated that year I think..).

I’m donating to Nairn County every week. A commitment I made to them before the season started following a magnificent statement they made during the summer hertz shambles.

Edit - Just bought a couple of home tickets. Stuff the hertz pettiness.

Loved Gentle Giant. Also saw the Slits although I'm not sure it was for their musical prowess.
Iggy P. is right though, the Moody Blues & YES weren't exactly flavour of the month in '77......
Glory Glory, he said very specifically....
