Football Australia today confirmed that the Socceroos have withdrawn from the CONMEBOL Copa America 2021.
Regrettably, significant changes to Australia’s senior men’s national football team’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ qualification schedule, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have forced Australia to withdraw from the tournament which will be held in Argentina and Colombia in June and July this year.

I was about to say that's a shame as I was looking forward to seeing Boyle v Messi, but if that means we're more likely to have him (and Irvine?) for European games then maybe it's for the best from our point of view.

I was actually checking on this last week and noticed they had a world cup qualifier sandwiched inbetween their first 2 Copa matches so wondered how that was going to work.
