Still the most emotional and best version of that magnificent anthem in my time watching Hibs.

Outstanding.

2016 was great. Was in floods of tears, the same as grown men all around me but sometimes wish the players were on the pitch for it. Let's be honest, every time it's sung it's spine tingling. Glad we don't play it at the start of games now. Definitely a victory anthem only.

Amazingly the Proclaimers singing Sunshine on Leith has just come up on my playlist as Im watching the Wolves Leeds game on TV. Glass of red in hand. Chill night.

Victory and first game back at Easter Road (when we're allowed to sing) after a pandemic anthem.

AEK, 2007 and 2016 all good

Just glad I was there at all of them to share with friends and family

I especially liked the HIBS Song after SOL in 2016 it really summed it up for me a poignant moment thinking of those passed who did live to see the Holy Grail

SOL after beating Hearts under the lights is also good

1991/92 was a special night back at Easter Road with the team that would not die with the Cup

1972 back at the North British after the game in the pouring rain hoping just to get a sight of the players and a glimpse of the Cup

We only had one song back then.....Hibees! Hibees! Hibees!

2007 has three advantages in that there was 10k extra Hibbys, the team were actually on the pitch (with added tears) and no one was really expecting to hear it.

You knew it was coming in 2016, lacked the spontaneity.

2016 is better because nobody's clapping, which is my absolute pet peeve when Sunshine on Leith gets played at Easter Road. We should be thanking the pitch invaders among us for getting the lap of honour scrapped. :greengrin

They’re all good IMO, even the one that we won the championship - my stag in hospitality that day 👍🏻👍🏻

I hear you. Get those scarves in the air, ask the players if they would rather hear applause on their lap of honour after thumping Hearts et al or see a sea green and white scarves everywhere and Sun shine on Leith belting out. Its magical.

For me.

2001 - AEK - the day it was adopted a Hibs anthem.

2007 - CIS Win - the day it grew into our song of celebration.

2016 - Scot Cup Win - the day it was etched in Hibernian history.

AEK at ER and the 2016 monyspinner replay are the two best renditions at our holy ground .
I didn’t think the 2007 rendition would ever get topped but my god , it did in 2016
