Was wondering if any update on the knocks they both had on Saturday? Personally would be surprised if both were able to play this weekend. Hopefully nothing major but did look potentially serious looking injuries imo.

Jack ross was saying they appeared to be impact injuries so I reckon they will both be fine for saturday. Irvine will maybe miss out but Gogic played the rest of the game so I reckon he'll play

Ross's comments were directly after the game about not being dislocations however would assume some other damage possible

Shoulder/rotator cuff injuries can take a while. Lower arm less problematic and more easily strapped to let you play.
Irvine's definitely looked a shoulder problem. Gogic?
I would not be surprised if both are out for a couple of weeks.

He says today that they could be fit by the weekend.

And we’re due up at Dingwall on Saturday.

Hope the snow ploughs are out and clearing the drifts . How do we usually travel up there ?

By road. How else would we get there?

Any news on Newell, sorry but if I've missed reports?

I think Ross said in his pre match presser last weekend that Newell would be back in training this week?

Hopefully he's back in the squad for the county game

Husky and Sled would appear to be the most likely mode of transport

We've got some brilliant options in midfield now. Does a fit Scott Allan get in the team right now? I never thought I'd say that but the midfield 2 of Gogic and Irvine looks a great balance.

Seems to be a standard response, every week he churns that line out regarding injured players.

Maybe just likes to keep other managers guessing

Im sure he said the same before the league cup semi, hopefully its nothing more serious.

Not for me unless he can add to his game when he doesn't have the ball or possibly in place of Murphy but Jamie is far more consistent when fit

He said last week that he returned to training and then felt the injury niggling so they gave him more time. Think we’ve rushed a couple of players back too soon and they’ve ended up injured again soon after, glad we’ve now got a squad capable of winning even when key players are out so we can give them the time they need!

Ah i missed that, cheers. You're right aye, maybe potentially out of necessity too needing to rush them back previously, definitely another good benefit of the depth weve got in the squad now that JN can recover in his own time :agree: Mind you, the way the midfield has been since hes been out he'll struggle to get back in!

Rail , fly ????

I'm sure the Rangers have recently started flying up to games there.

Down south most top flight clubs fly to various games. Any club from Birmingham to the South Coast would always fly to Newcastle or Sunderland.

Flying might be an an idea if there’s still Edinburgh -Inverness flights. Only a further 20 miles to Dingwall

Snow today and tomorrow and still freezing cauld thereafter.
Tomorrow nights games must be doubtful although they had plenty of notice so could have covered the pitches. Vehicular travel by road must be an issue though.
Dundee v Ayr off today due to frozen pitch
