It’s sometimes nice to stop and have a wee look around. Five points clear in third with a European adventure looming, whilst our big team rivals delight at Dunfermline losing!
We are miles ahead of that lot and it feels great.

Hibs won because Aberdeen were honking according to that lot.
Watching them last night and they were eye bleedingly poor.
Like you say it feels great so we should enjoy it.

They’ve lost 3 games to mince opposition and got papped out the cup by the team bottom of the league, but somehow they’d be challenging for 3rd in the Prem!
They never learn. All talk.
They're desperate to say "Hibsed it" whenever they can. Any time we lose its "Hibsed it" and they conveniently forget how bad they are and how often they've lost in the last few years. Not to mention how many times they've blown it. 85/86 wasn't an isolated incident though to be fair it was more spectacular. 😂

I watched their game last night and, admittedly, I will always, tongue in cheek, look for a p!ss taking comment, but I can honestly say that they were honking and will not survive in the Premiership with their team as it stands. Big bucks from their sugar daddy required to keep them playing with the big boys, me thinks.

They're a funny bunch. I watched their 'game' live on BBC Scotland. They should be embarrassed for everyone who tuned in to watch, they were beyond dire!
They try and poetry this current standing superiority because of a Nisbet missed penalty in the Semi and completely ignore the fact that they are literally playing in the Championship.... with a few losses to their name.....while we sit in 3rd...in the Premiership....going for Europe..
You've almost got to feel sorry for their delusion. Us being 3rd will be eating them up big time inside!
Glorious..

They are absolutely dire and are making extremely heavy weather of a dire Championship...with the difference in budgets compared to rest of that league it should be sewn up by now...yet they are relying on dodgy pens to beat the likes of Ayr Utd...they are dire

Totally agree - this phrase was buried forever on 21/05/2016 and should never be used by a Hibs fan ever again - I’ve seen it used a few times on this forum and it makes my blood boil - only real Hibs fans would avoid using it - even in jest - it’s a phrase that should be automatically deleted if typed into this site - if it gets through then the users should be named and shamed - rant over ... and breath 🤭😁

Can't believe this phrase is being perpetuated by Hibs fans.

Jason Cummings and then Paul Hanlon killed that phrase 5 years ago today.
Sir David Gray and Anthony Stokes then took its carcass and buried it as far as you can bury something.
There is no “Hibsed it” any more.

Just read some of the posts above regards never mentioning the phrase Hibsed it.
I like to think we can have a good laugh at our own expense and by mentioning this phrase in the context it was mentioned in, have a right good laugh at folk that actually think this is a thing.
Let’s no get all Hearts and start pointing fingers and banning certain words, phrases or posters ffs!
Rise above it my fellow Hibees and laugh like ****!

If we react to it then it just encourages opposition fans to use it, similar to how rangers fans now get wound up by zombies and likely to be wound up by stickies. If we use it to refer to times we win then it becomes pointless as aj insult.

Yes - Harry Swan was a good guy and his name should not be denigrated 🤭😂

I'd like to think the 2016 final redefined what "hibsed it" means.

That ship has sailed, we should embrace it as the dons fans have with their sheep tag. I personally find it amusing.

I'd say 24th April 1965 at Tynecastle has to be the biggest bottle job of all time anywhere :greengrin

Nah - not for me - at least with sheep (not speaking from personal experience I hasten to add) there could be some pleasure, positivity and even comfort - but the “H” phrase is grossly unfair, negative and demeaning and I don’t want our players ever reading about it again in case they get it into their minds at any point now and into the future (amateur psychologist in action here 😁). I prefer the peg selling tag myself 😂Pegs is the future 👍

It's tragic for Hearts fans and their chums in the media that they created this dire patter the season we knocked them out of the Scottish Cup on our way to lifting the trophy. Totally cringeworthy.

I read it all the time, it gives me a right laugh with all this thumb sucking crap about teams that voted against them when they were rightly relegated from the top flight.
