Why was he out of football first half of the season? I guess his last club didn’t offer him the deal he wanted but surprised he took the risk of being out of football for months. Surely some money is better than nothing? I suspect he’ll likely get offers in excess of what we can offer next season.

Hope it isn't serious. The guy was fantastic today! So confident and composed on the ball. Should be our main target for next season.

I don’t think that’s saying much. He’d have to be getting a pretty significant deal which I think would be multiples more than our top earners.
