Crosshouse Hospital under lockdown after 'serious incident' - BBC News (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-55941787)

It added that inquiries into these incidents were at an early stage and that the areas involved have been cordoned off.

Officers said the first occurred outside the hospital at about 19:45.

About 20 minutes later, they were called to another serious incident on Portland Street, which is in the centre of Kilrmarnock about two miles from the hospital.

The third incident is a serious road crash. Officers were called to the A76 at about 20:30.

Guy has stabbed his ex-wife in the hospital car park. Someone came over to help and he stabbed them also. Both dead.

Does a runner in his car and crashes after being chased by police. Runs to a nearby viaduct and jumps off killing himself.

From a friend who's wife is a nurse at the hospital.

Jesus Christ!

It’s shiv like this that is a recruiting Sargent for “keeping your head down and not getting involved”. That Good Samaritan paid with his life.

The part in bold doesn't match up with what's came out in the news today. The two stabbings were about two miles apart.

I thought the stabbings took place in two different locations?

Whatever the circumstances it's a hideous incident.

And third, "connected" death being reported as a traffic accident/incident. (Maybe drove rather than jumped off a viaduct.)

Mother and daughter both died of stab wounds, horrendous.

Is it certain that it was a mother and daughter?

:dunno:

The ages given of the two dead women is 39 and 24, meaning the mother would have had to have given birth at 15.

I realise that's possible, but it it doesn't seem the most likely relationship between the two.

(not disagreeing with you, Scouse. It's a genuine question, as there's been a bit of misinformation put out so far)
