Good idea. Better than trying to hang onto some dodgy stream from Holland.

Pretty sure England were meant to be playing Bulgaria in that episode.Used to love the Likely Lads and can even recall the original series even though I was just a nipper.Apparently Rodney Bewes and James Bolam didn’t get on.

That’s why you really don’t see repeats, James Bolam won’t agree to it.

Game was called off because of a waterlogged pitch and they showed ice dancing instead 😂

them not getting on was something along the lines of Bewes telling people that Bolam’s wife was pregnant when they had decided to keep the news quiet. I think this happened during the making of the film at the end of the 2 seasons of whatever happened to the likely lads

I don't understand why we have to play the game twice in the same night, once in English and then again in Gaelic?

They have to do an English version after Cliff and Tam.

Well managed to dodge the result all night and caught up on Alba. Great three points, solid if not too spectacular and always looked in control of the game even in the first half when I thought we lacked creativity. Probably Murphy MOTM for me but in truth no one really stood out but similarly no one had a particularly off night, a decent team performance against an inform Buddies side. Chuffed for Porto after a few indifferent recent performances and the consequent stick, great for him to get a goal and great to see him playing with a smile on his face. Pleased to see Nisbet on the pitch too. A huge match on saturday.

Any Gaelic speakers here. Watching the game on Alba, most times when the ball was crossed in to the penalty area by either side, the commentator said something like ‘Jack in the box’. I’m curious to know what he was saying.

I was about to ask the same.
