I keep trying to go back to stuff I liked years ago and it only works occasionally. Big success though with Hue & Cry's first 3 albums, I'd never listened to them probably since they faded out the limelight in the early 90s and I assumed they'd sound dated but they made some absolutely gorgeous tunes. Looking For Linda and Ordinary Angel still send a wee tingle up the spine.

All my old Dylan stuff. His songwriting was genius.

You have to wonder what they would have been like if he hadn’t died so young
I have a double Albumn which is a Duane Amman Anthology
The first three sides are when he played as a session player
Some great playing and of course he played on Clapton s Layla

So many in that situation Ronnie? Going right back to Glenn Miller, through Buddy Holly, Brian Jones (accident/murder?), hendrix, Joplin, Rory Gallagher, Clarence White, etc.

But I agree, Duane was up there with the very best. It's a good quiz question about Layla - to name the 2 guitarists.
