Any word on what's been said/if anything has been said about Porto and Nisbet missing?

Saw this on bbc website

Hibernian head coach Jack Ross: "With the conditions of the pitch around the country at this time of year, you have to do the fundamentals and the ugly side of the game properly and rely on the quality you have in the squad - and I think that's what won us the game.

"We have done a lot of good things and the last three or four weeks have clouded that a little bit and you want to get back to winning ways as soon as you can."

From BBC Sport

Hibs head coach Jack Ross is pleased to see his side end a run of three games without an away win.

"We have a very good record away from home this season and to continue that today is pleasing," he said.

"I think we did the different aspects of the game very well. With the conditions of the pitch around the country at this time of year, you have to do the fundamentals and the ugly side of the game properly and rely on the quality you have in the squad - and I think that's what won us the game."

Of Darren McGregor's opening goal, Ross says: "Darren has been a threat in the box throughout his career - usually from his head. But his finish was emphatic and it was significant because we've seen the importance of the first goal in recent weeks. It probably gave us increased confidence.

"We have done a lot of good things and the last three or four weeks have clouded that a little bit and you want to get back to winning ways as soon as you can."

No question asked about them seems strange 🤔

"What about that goal?"
"Shut my eyes and hit it as hard as I could."
What a guy.

According to the Record he said that he expects both Nisbet and Porteous to stay as things stand.

Probably told not to ask the question beforehand.

Which is kind of good. Let him just enjoy the victory!!

There will be plenty of time tomorrow for the rumours to fly!

Sounds like JR is confident they will still be here.

“Ross remains confident the duo will still be Hibees come the midnight transfer deadline on Monday, adding he made a “judgement call” to leave them out of the starting line up.”

Got to say I will be gutted and angry if we sell Nisbet after 6 months.

I have a bad feeling both will leave.

Not sure why.

Sounds unlikely according to the manager - https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/sport/football/hibs-transfer-news-jack-ross-19736239.amp?__twitter_impression=true

Probably told not to ask the question beforehand.
If so, and the question had been asked anyway, might we have seen (or heard off camera) another Jim McLean type end to the interview?

Funnily enough I was thinking of the Jim McLean incident when I posted that

Football managers won't always tell the truth.

Even reading that, I still believe both will be sold. Players may have asked to leave on back of the bids. Just never know.
