Just wanted people's opinions after last night's stamp by Moralis and the discussion at half time when everyone agreed it was a definite stamp and sending off. It never benefits the team sinned against why does the compliance officer not inform referee at half time and have the culprit sent off.

Retrospective reds don't benefit the club who should have been playing the against the ten men. It can even work against them if the ban is effective against teams who are closer to us in the table than say The Rangers are.

I'd like to see it whereby the player sent off misses the next fixture against the team who should have had the numerical advantage.

That makes it fairer for the club offended against. I would go a bit further and stipulate if the offending player is not selected ,injured or transferred then that players club should play with ten men from the time offence was committed.

That rule was changed a few years ago, he can if it's considered that the referee has missed an aspect of the challenge/incident which would have changed his on-field decision to a red card.

Errr... There is actually no compliance officer at the moment since Clare Whyte has recently vacated the position and it is yet to be filled.
SFA will no doubt patch together a temporary solution involving Darryl Broadfoot reviewing highlights on his phone and issuing a one-game ban for Morelos when Rangers are next at home to Hamilton and a lifetime ban for Big Daz.

If he didn’t book him for standing on him what did he book him for though?

I'm not sure but I'm not sure how standing on someone can ever be just a booking.

He shouldn't have been sent off by the way.

Had a quick scan through the SFA Disciplinary Rules but can't see a time limit within which the CO can raise a complaint. Anyone?

When does an innocent tangle of legs become violent conduct? When the referee chooses not to see what’s clearly happening in front of his eyes. It’s as simple as that and in my book that is corruption.

That’s what I feel. If there was a league table fir sides against whom players are later red carded I’d wager Hibs would be top in Scotland.

I honestly don't care. It doesn't benefit us, the ref won't get penalised so it'll just happen again and Morelos clearly isn't changing his behaviour.

Meanwhile we have lost 3 points and Sevco are weakened and less likely to take points off our rivals.

This 100%. The system if a shambles, his retrospective ban actually benefits the teams around us in the league and we get nothing.

I mean some form of retribution should be considered, like Clancy having to go 10 rounds with Daz or Josh Taylor.

This. Makes sense. Therefore never going to happen.

As it stands our league rivals get the advantage and we get 0 points.
