Read earlier today that he’s passed away. Remember him playing for Celtic during the 70s, at a time when there were fewer foreign players in Scotland. Hadn’t realised that he was only Icelandic because his father fled there from Estonia to escape war crimes charges, having been deputy head of police during the Nazi occupation.
