Hi, as part of my daughters final year of study in criminology at Napier University, she is conducting a survey for input into her dissertation (relating to the rights of prisoners). At the moment her survey is skewed with female input. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Done, really interesting subject to choose. It got me questioning my own thoughts

Agreed, it's something I have half thought about before but had me really questioning the way I feel about it

Agree with others, always found Criminology an interesting subject. Have worked in many lectures and learnt quite a bit.
Also worked in Forensic Psychology for a good while, especially in the subjects of Secure Mental Health Units. Working prison visits were quite an experience too!
Happy to help with the survey.

Done. As someone who doesn't have the right to vote in the country where I've lived, worked and paid taxes for over 16 years, this is a subject which is very important to me.
Done. Interesting topic to consider, with very few, if any, easy answers/solutions

Think only prisoners on remand and those serving a sentence in the community who are tagged are eligible to vote currently. Some talk of legislation to allow prisoners whose sentence doesn't exceed 12 months to vote.
