Why does that message repeat on every page you visit on this site? And more importantly how can I stop it?

Why does that message repeat on every page you visit on this site? And more importantly how can I stop it?

Only comes up for me when I visit using a different Wi-fi. Are you using a private browser?

Only comes up on my PC not using private browsing. Every second click is to clear that message :rolleyes:

No problems when viewing on my phone

I was told it's a GDPR requirement to have it on the site.

I do find it a bit annoying on my phone as it takes up the right hand side of the message box when I'm typing a post and I often do typos because I can't see some of the letters that I've typed. I did ask if it could be re-positioned but not heard anything yet.

Weird. It pops up time to time for me but usually sound after that.

Just strange as I say no issue on the phone may be a problem with security or something on work laptop

It’s a GDPR requirement but that doesn’t mean it should show every time you visit

I've no idea about the law, when I asked about it I was told that it appeared every time because you could change your mind about your privacy preferences after you make your initial decision.

Yeah it should remember your setting until you decide to change it by going into settings

Every time I click on anything its giving me the privacy option.. its quite annoying to be honest as I have clicked Agree about 20 times in the last few minutes..

That is exactly what I get on the PC it is mad every second click is to clear that message. Will just have to stick to the phone.
