Morning folks.....was hoping someone on here might help out with a query.
I was having a clear out at the weekend and found, amongst loads of other tops, this old goalie top.
Does anyone know for sure which year this was from? Google seems to suggest 1994 although I can’t totally remember as we had quite a few years of very ‘out there’ goalie tops.
Also, as I’m needing to get rid of so much clutter I will likely be putting this on eBay. Does it have any collectible value at all?
Thanks in advance

I see Jim Leighton when looking at that so 1994 would make sense but can’t say for certain.
My goalkeeper kit question is why do we keep on wearing our away top as a goalie kit? We wore the purple stripey one loads and now Marciano has recently worn the grey number. What’s with that?

I kinda thought that too mate.
All of these multi coloured goalie tops seem synonymous with Leighton and Chris Reid.
It’s a shame they no longer seem to make the same effort with tops. I had the same thoughts as yourself and can’t understand why we seem to be using an outfield kit for the goalie. Bring these big steaming efforts back I say!

Get it on eBay if you’re getting rid. A lot of old Hibs tops go for triple figures :agree:
I’ve got the same top and have been meaning to put it on for ages.

Aye I’ve saw the Macbean and calor gas outfield tops going for some crazy money just now so thought this might be the best idea.
Just no idea how to price it or if a reserve is needed etc.
I can’t believe how mental the market is for old tops just now.
I found a signed Stuttgart top from the season after they won the league too. I’m sure Mario Gomez has signed it along with the whole team. No idea how I got my hands on that either but that will be going up too
