French Football TV Deal Collapses

Lique 1 had apparently negotiated a €3.25bn, four season deal with a Spanish TV Company called Mediapro, but the deal has now collapsed with only around 10% of that money being paid out.

Quite a number of French Clubs are now considered to be in danger of financial collapse.

I also noted only 2 of their teams got thru to the European knock-out stages,a and could conceivably lose their spot to Portugal in the near future
