Sunshine on Leith

We know what Sunshine on Leith means to us. There was a nice programme on BBC R4 this morning - Soul Music which is a series about music which has had a powerful emotional impact, and today's song was SoL, "an anthem to love and humanity". I only caught the first half and will get the rest on BBC Sounds later, so don't know if the Hibs connection was covered, but well worth a listen to hear what it means to other people.

It’s a good listen. Especially if you don’t mind being seen with a tear in your eye this morning. Many people will know Margaret Alcorn who was interviewed about Hands off Hibs and the general Hibs and Leith connection.

Good listening. The death row lawyers story, got me greeting. I saw Ross Wilson in Perth when he first sang the Edin and Sunshine on Leith combination with the choir, I'm glad the lights were down 😭
