Perhaps it's too simplistic, but it seems like Hallberg is much more effective in games where we have a lot of the ball and he has more licence to get forward. It may be that he's a capable starter in those games but less so in games where the midfield need to battle more.

That's not necessarily a problem for me, as long as we have the players we need for different types of games.

Vast majority of folk have rightly praised his performance today. Vast majority of folk have quite rightly criticised his contribution so far this season. I don’t think that really amounts to folk having it in for him.

I think the praise from posters was to even out the negative comments before kick off. :wink:

Great score and we look to be bang in form again. We look like a team that’s either very good, or can look poor and short on quality with little in between. Thankfully we’ve looked very good more than not so far this season.

Hallberg and Wright were very solid before being taken off.

McGinn has been excellent, Boyle threatening throughout.
