A difficult position for a youngster to play, thought he was solid today and I look forward to watching him progress in a Hibs jersey.

Has been off the boil a bit in recent weeks, but looked great today.

His confidence on the ball and the way he has started driving out defence with it recently isnt to be sniffed at. The boy is improving at a very good rate

At one point in the first half he took the ball from defence to attack waltzing past two Motherwell forwards he reminded me of Franz Beckenbauer nae Pat Stanton :greengrin

That's the Porto we know and love! Hasn't been great the past few weeks. But thought he was excellent today! Getting back to basics and what's he's good at, defending!

Think he has been solid most weeks barring occasional mistakes.

Agreed. He was very good up until the Scottish cup tie. Struggled for a couple of weeks after that one but has been really good again since.

I think that’s his game.

Generally very solid player, makes the odd rash mistake.

If he tried too hard to curb them he might lose more of what makes him good.

It was good to see that back 4 together again. As a unit, along with Marciano, I think they work very well together.

He was a key part of the first 10 mins or so of the second half where we stopped looking scared of the ball and showed some composure on the ball.

Made a massive difference having someone willing to beat the press and keep our consistent pressure on going forward.

It actually does, but 9 times of of 10, replying to someone you totally agree with is pointless :greengrin

He'll need to move on soon to progress his own personal career.

He needs to be alongside better defenders and up against classier strikers.

Nah, he needs to improve his basic level game awareness and the rudiments of good defending to progress his own personal career.
