View Full Version : No Easy Games

It seems that there are no easy games these days and nothing can be taken for granted.

Ah, that must be why I constantly hear players and managers saying there’s lot of difficult places to go to.

We should take one game at a time.

At the end of the day, you've got to earn the right to play football.

It can all come down to a bad refereeing decision or bounce of a ball.

Rangers and Stevie G are a prime example of how to build a team and change a culture of expectations to winning mentality, undoubtedly they have spent a few Bob,but they are punching above their weight.

A really good good side to watch, and every player is a cog in the wheel, reminds me of us under Stubbs slightly.a real team effort.with some classy players.

Btw rangers have won nowt yet😂but it’s coming together for them.
Even for them there is no easy game, but they have a winning formula,a good group of players an up and coming gaffer, and if still the case an excellent fitness coach in Iain flanny Flanagan if indeed he is still there.

I think flanny leaving hibs was a big blow to our fitness side of things.even guys like Cummings, and mcginn learnt new levels of fitness under this guy,and they said so on occasions in interviews.

So back to my point😂if you have a winning formula games are easier but mainly there are no easy games.

At the end of the day you want your strikers to be In and around the box. , it's goals that matter and I'll be over the moon if Hibs score some tomorrow and shut up shop at the back.

Dunno if this was a serious OP but thanks for the laugh guys; needed it after the day/commute I've had. :aok:

"[I]At the end of the day" was a beauty; nevertheless, I would respectfully contribute the following:

"But will [insert Johnny Foreigner player name] be up for it on a wet winter's evening up at Pittodrie"

Guaranteed post about aforementioned player after an impressive home debut in August.

My personal favorite, usually on show, after a succession of fairly "meh" results against perceived weaker opposition:

"...He'S [manager] LoSt ThE DrEsSiNg RoOm..." - presumably down the back of the couch. :greengrin
