Maybe not the right place for it but huge crash at the start of the F1. Grojean’s car cut in half on the barrier and burst in to a ball of flames. Yet he walks away with what appear to be minor injuries. Incredible.

It also shows why anyone who says F1 is "too safe" is entirely wrong. Roman Grosjean gets to live his life tonight when there's almost no way at all that he should be. It's part of the incredible engineering of motorsport that he could walk away.

He spoke today from hospital and said he wasn’t in favour of the halo when it was first introduced. Saved his life today along with the medical guys who got him out of there.
