By all accounts, the ref, Gavin Duncan, is/was a Hearts fan.
Perhaps he tried that hard not to show any favouritism that he went the other way. Hard to imagine any other reason, it's not like Hearts are known as hoofers & cloggers that play some sort of industrial style of football 🤔

Funny thing is that all the Jambos will give it the 'it's only the wee cup' thing. Yesterdays result should hit home that this season wont be the walk in the park they think it would be. They'll be lots of games like Alloa, Arbroath, Morton away etc that will be tougher than they thought. 👊
