Celtic haven’t made any big money signings tbh. Robertson a stand out for them in the middle. Loads of excellent youth players too.

Celtic are full time IIRC, whether or not they spend massive money bringing players in, they spent a fortune on the team in regards to wages, the setup of training every day, the sports science and the likes. They are now light years ahead of hibs in regards to finance for their women’s team.

If you can go over on to Shiv Hunter's sisterters Facebook Page and see the depths some piece of **** at Celtic Ladies appears to have plumbed.

Seems their women pick up where their men leave off.

The certainly have invested a decent amount in making the teams FT and providing more in the background. Unlike Rangers though Celtic haven’t went out and signed a load of new players. Investment in youth and infra is reaping rewards for them now. They have the strongest youth setup by miles right now. Will be interesting to see if Rangers can match them by buying in the talent.

I don’t pay enough attention in regards to who they have signed and for how much, however the comment was ‘money talks’ and whether that is on transfers, on wages, on infrastructure, they have far more money than the likes of Hibs now and it shows on the park.

Is it not the case that Celtic and Rangers have now recruited full-time teams?

They will inevitably be stronger than amateur teams such as Hibs. It happened in England many years back when the likes of Doncaster Belles were swept aside by Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

Exactly. It wont be long before the OF ladies are moaning about a lack of competition, because no team in Scotland outside of them could possibly afford to run a full time team and they will inevitably sweep aside even Glasgow City, which will be a real shame.

Celtic aren’t properly full time. Some of them have jobs. Same as Hibs. Celtic are deffo putting more money into it than Hibs. I think Hibs have 10 players on contracts? But it may be more. City are the same.

City are losing 3 players to Rangers soon, so yeh it’s like that they will be playing for 3rd / 4th v Hibs.

I am thinking that as Women's football in the USA is growing and their team have been successful in World Cup, should Ron be looking at opportunities? Surely there must be merit in investing here and boosting the Hibs brand be it Women's or Men's in the USA.

Now that the ugly sisters look like monopolising women's football how long before we get the Green Brigade and the Union Bears (how ****ing pathetic are both of those names by the way) turning up in numbers at a derby match and causing bother?

Even the biggest fan of the women’s game knows there is no money in Scotland to grow the game. And tbh not enough fan appetite to make it sustainable. Scotland should try and at least be a great stepping stone for young players to enable them to make a living down south and abroad.

True, at least we would want to be one of the teams that should be there or thereabouts. It would a shame that dominance goes again west.

Portugal score on 68 mins with a very rare chance, scotland girls guilty of trying to walk it in at the other end.

and yet again, just hit it fgs instead of passing it back across the box again
